The 2019 Yamaha RAY was sighted testing in the vicinity of Chennai. The gasoline tank is now more muscular, and tank extensions extend further down, almost covering the engine sides. Surprisingly, the bike spotted testing had a single-piece unit. The test mule could be a rider and pillion-friendly model, similar to the Yamaha YZF-R15.

Yamaha Ray News

Yamaha Ray on-road performance drops due to stiff suspensions
Class, Performance Engine refinement next level. No one can compete with Yamaha in terms of engine refinement. However, both the front and rear suspension are extremely stiff. In poor road conditions, it is abysmal. Everything can be felt from the road. Made entirely of plastic. The cost of maintenance is acceptable, if a touch on the expensive side. Due to its lighter weight, it is less stable above 50 km/h. The handling is exceptional. The headlights are inadequate. Overall, a poor choice for individuals who cycle on poor roads. 50 km/l after the second service.

Except for the cost, all other characteristics of the FZ series cars have not been altered. They are all driven by a 149cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 12.2bhp and 13.3Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a five-speed transmission and a conventional clutch. The fuel tank capacity of the sporty FZ models and the FZ X differs; the former has a 13-litre tank, while the latter has a smaller 10-litre container.
