Honda Bikes
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) is a 100
percent subsidiary of Honda Motor Company Ltd in Japan. The company began
its journey in the year 1959. Its presence in India has been since the year
2001. The first Honda plant was built in Gurgaon’s Manesar.
The first model that honda bikes launched was the Activa in 2001. Even though
the brand began its journey late, Honda bikes have carved a space of their own.
The bikes and scooters that Honda manufactures are affordable, performance-based,
and reliable on Indian roads.
The Honda company also commits to the Make in India tagline. This has given rise
to the company’s second manufacturing plant in 2011 which is based in Rajasthan’s
Tapukara. The third manufacturing plant is based in Karnataka’s Narsapura and was
launched in the year 2013.
Apart from honda bikes, the Honda 2Wheelers India also manufactures scooters. This
has given rise to the fourth and only scooter manufacturing plant in Gujrat’s Vithalapur.
This plant was launched in the year 2015 and focuses on manufacturing just Honda scooters.

It''s really competitive and perfect for a ride in our city as well. The
excellent design gives a perfect look. If we talk about engines, it''s great with really
low sound and vibration. Economical looking to the present prices of same vehicles in the
market. Easy to maintain and reliable.Really lovable.

One of the best bikes I have rode in my life, and certainly the best retro/cruiser/street
bike in this price range. The bike gives a terrific soothing rides on highways, due to its tall gears
and ability to produce 30 nm torque at as low engine speed as 3000 rpm. The bike''s riding experience
is nowhere similar to bullet, but may be compared with that of dominar 400. The bike provides a
sporting experience, as the 0-100 time for h''ness is 12s, which is 7s faster than normal 350cc
cruisers.

Honda Bikes Discontinued Models
The company has discontinued five Honda bikes to date. The primary reason behind this was
that the company wants to focus on designs that are doing well in terms of looks and performance
while removing the ones that did not fare well in the market. These five bikes are Honda Unicorn
Dazzler, Honda Trigger, Honda Unicorn 160, Honda Stunner, and Honda Twister.
