The Maestro Edge 125 is the top-of-the-line scooter from Hero, ranking above the Destini 125. Launched at the 2018 Auto Expo, the scooter shares its chassis with the Maestro Edge 110cc variant.
The Maestro Edge 125 is India's first scooter with fuel-injection technology. Retaining the Maestro Edge's existing features, the 125cc edition adds a semi-digital instrument dashboard, textured seat, and a trademark LED lamp on the front fender. It is also available in a new form that boasts a fully-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, a full-LED headlight, and a few stylistic changes that make it appear more aggressive.
The scooter is powered by a BS6-compliant 124cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that can generate 9bhp at 7,000rpm and 10.4Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm. For cycling parts, the scooter is equipped with telescopic forks up front and a monoshock in the rear, with drum brakes on both ends and an optional front disc brake. Performance
The Hero Maestro Edge has a single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke engine that makes 8.31bhp at 7500rpm and 8.7Nm of torque at 5500rpm. A CVT automatic gearbox is connected to the engine. Even though the Maestro Edge's engine is slow to speed up, the scooter picks up speed once it gets to 40–45 km/h. The Hero Maestro Edge has big front alloy wheels that are suspended by a telescopic front suspension. At high speeds, the scooter rides and handles better than other models because of this. The seats on the Maestro Edge are big and wide, so both the rider and the passenger can ride in comfort. The front and back of the Maestro Edge have drum brakes that work together. This helps the scooter stop well when going fast.
